Patti LaBelle started as the frontwoman for the group “LaBelle” and quickly rose to superstardom after its release of one of disco’s most famous singles. You know it: “Lady Marmalade.” However, after the breakup of the group in 1976, she continued to slay the charts with solo albums. Today, with 50 years of experience being a powerhouse in R&B, funk, disco and gospel, Patti LaBelle continues to perform hits like “You Are My Friend,” “Stir It Up” and “Somebody Loves You, Baby,” to sold-out shows around the world.
